The Northern Mountain Classic: Northward by another two hundred and eighty miles is a mountain known as the Shi Mountain. There is no vegetation on its peak, but it is abundant with jasper and emerald. The Zhi River originates from this mountain and flows westward to join the Yellow River. There is a beast here, resembling a leopard but with white markings on its body, called the Mengji.
