After 5 months, AWPortrait finally welcomes version 1.4. This update, based on 1.3 training, brings the generation of characters closer to realism. It elevates the realism of SD1.5 portraits to a new level, adding Oriental elements such as qipao and hanfu, enhancing studio and outdoor effects. It optimizes situations where close-ups of facial features may appear deformed. The age of the characters can now be adjusted, with stable output between 10-80 years old. Using "1girl" makes it easier to generate consistent average faces; for more diverse faces, natural language descriptions and more character details are recommended. Using descriptors like "a woman" expands the range of possibilities. For more model effects, refer to the example prompts.

To achieve the best image quality, follow the parameter configurations below:

Recommended sampling: DPM++ 2M Karras or Restart, Step 30

Resolution: 512768, 576864

Upscaling algorithm: Lanczos, Redraw magnitude 0.35-0.45

Negative prompts: ng_deepnegative_v1_75t, (badhandv4:1.2), (worst quality:2), (low quality:2), (normal quality:2), lowres, bad anatomy, bad hands, ((monochrome)), ((grayscale)) watermark, moles, large breast, big breast

For Close-up situations, the redraw magnitude can be left disabled or set to 0.25-0.3.

For UpperBody situations, the redraw magnitude can be left disabled or set to 0.3-0.35.

For Fullbody situations, set the redraw magnitude to 0.35-0.4.
