Detian Waterfall in Guangxi and Ban Gioc Waterfall in Vietnam – Asia's largest transnational waterfall.
v1

Detian Waterfall and Ban Gioc Waterfall in Asia are the largest transnational waterfalls, located on the Guichun River at the border between Daxin County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China and Cao Bang Province, Vietnam. The two parts of the waterfall are connected by natural river channels and vegetation, forming a spectacular cross-border landscape. China calls it "Detian Waterfall" while Vietnam refers to it as "Ban Gioc Waterfall", together creating a unique natural picture.
Bilateral Cooperation
China and Vietnam's governments attach great importance to the cross-border tourism cooperation at Detian-Ban Gioc Waterfall. They established a cross-border tourism cooperation zone in 2019 and improved related facilities and policies. Visitors can enter each other's scenic spots with simple customs procedures. For example, Chinese tourists can enter the Vietnamese side through a designated channel with just a passport or relevant travel documents, without needing an additional visa.
